Eric D. Jarman
Conference Host/Speaker, Minister, Businessman, Entrepreneur
Energetic, Radical, Innovative, Bold and Daring are words used to describe Christian Artist Eric D. Jarman. He, along with his wife Shay, are the founders and artistic directors for the Contagious Creative Arts Center, a ministry arts school dedicated to training the visual artist to minister the Word of God in excellence through the ministries of dance, drama, mime and flags.
His love for the performing arts developed during his early years while in front of the family’s record player. It was there that he would sing, dance, and act in productions that were created for the family’s entertainment. Recognizing his talent and nurturing his abilities, he was enrolled in many theatre productions and oratorical contest to help with his development as an artist. During these times his love for dance began to shine through. While participating with his high school dance team, he was selected to dance for two professional paying gigs.
In 1997, his professional gig ended abruptly when God intervened and moved him to Philadelphia, PA to live with his father, Pastor Eric D. Jarman, Sr.. It was under his father’s leadership where he started, “Under The Anointing” Mime Ministry. This ministry team was invited to minister throughout the tri-state area and it was an event held at Christian Faith Assembly where he met his wife.
He has been in the ministry of dance for over 12 years and has been involved in the dance ministry with his wife since 2002. Together they minister as Healing and Restoration Worship Arts Ministry and have a combined total of over 27 years in the dance ministry. They are the proud parents of two sons.
